language teacher

with heart and

intercultural experience

Language teacher with heart, intercultural experience and the conviction:

Learning can be fun, authentic and real.

Six weeks of summer in Italy – every year, right by the sea, to my grandparents in Calabria.

For me, this was the best time as a child: the smell of tomato sauce in the air, cooking together with my Nonna, the lively confusion of eating.

I absorbed everything—the language, the culture, the Italian way of life. Yes, the Dolce Vita.

From my Nonna, I not only learned Italian words and recipes, but also what it means to truly feel at home in a language and culture.

Interculturality and languages were

early part of my life –

and have me

shaped from the beginning.

While other children played on Fridays, I sat in Italian class. For three hours, week after week. Today I know for sure: That's where my language journey began.

I grew up in an Italian family in Saarland – with a lot of temperament, pasta on the table and two languages in my ear.

Italian was spoken at home, and German outside. At school, I also learned French and Spanish. During my studies, I deepened and perfected both languages through many stays abroad.

Cultures and languages were never just a school or university subject, but part of everyday life – and today:

my job, my passion, my heart's project.

Today I mediate

with passion,

what shaped me –

in language courses

and intercultural

Trainings.

Today I passionately teach

what has shaped me –

in language courses and intercultural training.

In adult education, I teach Italian, Spanish and French – supplemented by intercultural training that goes far beyond pure language teaching.

Thanks to my stays abroad and my professional background, I bring with me sound intercultural expertise and practical experience: cultural diversity is an integral part of my everyday life.

I myself live in an intercultural marriage – with my Croatian husband, between languages, values and the daily balancing act between different thought and communication patterns.

All these experiences shape my work: authentic, close to everyday life and with genuine cultural sensitivity.

My courses are about

To combine language and culture in a natural way.

You will learn how both work together – with a focus on everyday situations, professional contexts, culinary insights, regional peculiarities and cultural aha moments.
